Finalisation du raccordement d’un portefeuille de 16 centrales solaires en Grèce !

We are proud to announce the completion of the commissioning this week of 16 photovoltaic power plants in Greece, with a total capacity of 10 MWp

🌍 The plants are located in the Kozani region of Western Macedonia, which until recently was Europe’s third largest coal producer.

These plants, built on brownfield sites, demonstrate our commitment to making use of unused land while contributing to the local energy transition. ♻️

🎯 In Greece, where the electricity mix still relies mainly on fossil fuels—notably natural gas (38%), oil (7%), and lignite (6%)—and where electricity prices are very high (more than €116/MWh on average over the last 12 months), these projects have a particularly high impact.

Developed and built by Smart Energies, these facilities mark an important step in our development in Greece and in our ambition to produce clean, local, and competitive energy. ✨

👏 Congratulations to our Athens team for this great success, and thank you to the Smart support teams!
